The story behind the brand.
April Gargiulo, the founder of Vintner’s Daughter, is a winemaker, just like her father and his father before him. She is a woman of means, but all her money could not bring her the healthy, beautiful skin she was dreaming about after dealing with cystic acne and hyperpigmentation all her life. Still, she started really paying attention to the skincare products she was using (most of them made by luxury brands) only after she became pregnant.

So she decided to take charge and make her own skincare brand which, in honor of her daughter, Kate, was named Vintner’s Daughter.
April tackled skincare with the same dedication and using the skills she learned as a winemaker, something that made all of Vintner’s Daughter products significantly different than anything else available. She used both traditional and modern techniques to create a new type of “super food” for the skin. Something so powerful that would amplify the skin’s own natural ability of self regeneration, self balance and self healing with long term results. When she started designing her products, April had two principles in mind: minimalism and sustainability. This first step is used by the experts at Vintner’s Daughter just to create the Active Botanical Serum.
When it comes to the Active Treatment Essence, another 2 weeks are necessary for the Phyto Ferment to take place.
